My favorite thing about Halloween is the phenomenal creativity and character that explodes from all sorts of unsuspecting places! A fun, silly spectacle unfolds as people, young and old, give themselves permission to play. It is delightful!  My least favorite thing about Halloween is the sugar and the looming sugar detox.


Whether you feel terrific right now, or a wave of regret… let it go. Starting this morning, with breakfast, eat smart to free yourself from the blood sugar roller coaster of cravings, denial, and indulgence followed by desperate hunger. Lean into a healthy, hearty breakfast of proteins and fats to deeply nourish your body and remind it that it can fuel from fat instead of sugar. Eggs, bacon, salmon, cream cheese, sausage, cheese, avocado, full fat yogurt topped with nuts… Eat, enjoy, and then step into your day.
