Yes, you can! You can stay on your game and be as healthy and fit as you choose to be EVEN DURING THE HOLIDAYS! It comes down to 3 simple steps:

1. Decide. 

You are in control of your body, your choices. You have the power to say no, to say yes. When we fail to choose, we get swept away by myriad options that present themselves – during the holidays, that means a lot of extra treats, sweets, drinks and feasts. If you want to step off the train of holiday weight gain, the choice is yours. Decide right now. YOU HAVE THE POWER.

2. Prioritize.

Choose 2 splurges each week to fully enjoy! Look at your calendar and physically mark those 2 events each week when you will completely savor whatever you wish, and choose to feel good about it. This might be a family gathering, and then a brunch with friends… Choose the indulgences that really matter to you, and say YES with gusto.

Then say NO to the rest. Boom. Done. Step away from the cookie table at the school event. There are ways to be polite without eating an entire serving of food you don’t want to eat. Once you’ve taken the crucial step to decide, you will creatively overcome these minor obstacles.

3. Make a plan.
