We’re launching a new series of blog posts that will each feature a Dia mom. The first mom we’ve chosen to highlight is Nancy F., who worked out with The Dia Method prenatal videos during her recent pregnancy.
In addition to the physical benefits and labor preparation, Nancy appreciated the mood-boosting sense of camaraderie that comes from working out with other pregnant women, even in the convenience of her own home: “Your workouts have given me a feeling of empowerment and it sounds silly, but I have felt a sense of support from watching them… I have tried to do them a few times a week and they have helped me so much, mostly in an emotional way. It feels good to watch other pregnant people working out and also hearing kindness and support from you in the videos. I know most of your clients probably focus on the physical results of your workouts, but I wanted to chime in on the mental health aspect.”
On March 2, 2014 Nancy welcomed a precious and beautiful baby girl, Edith Grace. She was 6lbs, 4 oz, 20 inches long. Nancy described her natural delivery as “tough, but worth every second” and mentioned that baby Edith “looks to be in good shape from all the workouts! She is definitely a mover and a shaker :).”
